POEM (ARASH) – 2023

This piece is created using the poem “Arash” by Siavash Kasraei and is influenced by the social conditions of its time. Arash is a mythical character in Persian literature who sacrifices his life for his homeland, Iran. Siavash Kasraei, a contemporary Iranian poet, inspired by this legendary figure and under the influence of his own era’s circumstances, composed this poem in 1971.
